Business Development Officer

We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients based in Geneva, a Business Development Officer for a temporary contract.

Your responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze new business development and growth opportunities
• Conduct market research (trends, competition, customer needs) to support strategic decisions
• Contribute to the creation and development of new offers, products, or services
• Lead and coordinate development projects from ideation to implementation
• Assess project viability (risk analysis, profitability, feasibility)
• Develop and maintain a network of partners and internal/external stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of initiatives
• Monitor performance of implemented actions and propose improvement areas
• Prepare regular reports and provide strategic recommendations
• Maintain active market intelligence on trends, innovations, and new business opportunities

Your profile:

• Experience in business development, project management, or market analysis
• Strong understanding of commercial development challenges
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Ability to manage projects independently and coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build a strong network
• Autonomous, well-organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach
• Comfortable with digital tools
• Fluency in English is required (French is a plus)
