Chalet Housekeeping Allrounder (im Stundenlohn)

ROLE
We are seeking a Chalet Housekeeping Allrounder for an ultra-luxury chalet in Davos, Switzerland ("Chalet"). The Chalet Housekeeping Allrounder is central to the daily presentation and smooth running of the Chalet, ensuring that every space — from guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the common areas and staff zones — is maintained to an impeccable five-star standard at all times. The role combines meticulous housekeeping with warm, discreet, guest-facing hospitality: anticipating guests' needs, responding courteously to their requests, and ensuring every guest feels cared for and welcomed.

This is an hourly-paid position with flexible assignments, typically scheduled by the week during the winter season (December – April) and agreed by mutual consent.

Requirements:

1. Has a proven housekeeping track record in five-star luxury hotels and/or ultra-luxury private residences;
2. Is authentic, discreet and of the highest integrity;
3. Speaks fluent English; knowledge of German is an advantage;
4. Has a keen eye for detail and an immaculate personal presentation;
5. Is a reliable and flexible team player, willing to go the extra mile;
6. Can provide at least four references from former long-term employers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Chalet Butler;
• Contributing to an exceptional guest experience by anticipating guests' needs and providing attentive, discreet and personalised service;
• Assisting guests with unpacking, packing and storing luggage, as required;
• Performing daily housekeeping of bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas, as well as evening turndown service;
• Preparing the Chalet for guest arrivals and carrying out thorough departure cleans between stays;
• Maintaining immaculate presentation of guest areas and staff zones;
• Providing laundry, ironing and garment care for guests, as well as laundering Chalet linen and staff uniforms;
• Polishing and maintaining glassware, crockery and cutlery;
• Responding promptly and courteously to guest requests and queries;
• Conducting regular stock checks of linen, toiletries, guest amenities and cleaning products;
• Running local errands as directed by the Chalet Butler;
• Monitoring and promptly reporting maintenance, health and safety issues to the Chalet Butler;
• Collaborating with other Chalet staff members across all departments as required.
