Our client, an international leader in the maintenance and repair of aviation safety and survival equipment, is seeking a bilingual French / English Compliance Officer to join their team based near Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris.The Quality, Safety and Compliance Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the site's Compliance Monitoring Programme and Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring compliance with Part-145 (and, where applicable, Part-IS) requirements. The role covers audit planning and execution, technical documentation control, supplier oversight, and acts as the local point of contact with the Competent Authority (OSAC) on routine compliance and safety matters, under the guidance of the Accountable Manager.Candidates must have solid experience in an aviation environment with EASA Part-145, be comfortable writing MOE and be fluent in both French and English.The role is well suited to someone moving into their first or second management-level position in quality/compliance, rather than a candidate seeking a senior, multi-site, or purely strategic mandate.ResponsibilitiesOperational Manage day-to-day regulatory compliance activity under Part-145 (and Part-IS where applicable), with Authority liaison on routine matters supported by the Accountable ManagerMaintain, review, and revise the MOE and internal proceduresOperate and continuously improve the Compliance Monitoring ProgrammePlan, coordinate, and follow up on external audits (Authorities and Customers) and internal auditsLead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and oversee Corrective/Preventive Actions (CA/PA)Prepare quarterly safety performance reports for the organisationImplement and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) at site levelSupport management of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with Part-IS requirements, where applicableOversee technical documentation and maintenance data controlOversee training, competence assessment, and staff authorisations for the quality/compliance functionManage supplier approval, monitoring, and ongoing oversightHandle customer complaints and warranty investigationsSupervise and support Quality Assistant(s)/Engineer(s), reviewing their work and providing coaching Strategy & Development Plan and organise safety and quality training at site levelPromote awareness of safety and quality requirements across the siteActively support and promote the Safety Management SystemAdvise the Accountable Manager on safety and compliance matters, coordinating communication internally and with external stakeholdersMonitor safety and quality concerns in the aviation industry and assess their relevance to the organisationContribute to ad hoc projects and process improvements under the guidance of the Accountable Manager Profile required : Experience in quality, safety, or compliance within an aviation/MRO environment; prior audit experience preferredWorking knowledge of EASA Part-145 and SMS requirements; awareness of Part-IS is an advantageTechnical background in MRO, with relevant certification or vocational qualificationSome experience coordinating or reviewing the work of others (formal people-management experience not required)Good written and spoken English and French Salary: 50-60K€Role based on-site with one day remote working per week permittedPlease send your CV to Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
