Onboarding Specialist
We are looking for an Onboarding Specialist, supporting the Compliance Team of a Swiss institution. This role is designed to assist the intitution's clients, with a heavy front office component, combined with ensuring smooth onboarding processes and regulatory compliance.Onboarding Specialist
About the job:
- Review account opening documentation for individuals and legal entities for completeness and accuracy in accordance with CDB 20 and internal guidelines.
- Verify FATCA, CRS/AEOI and CDB formalities for consistency and completeness.
- Review and approve client data and account documentation.
- Identify documentation deficiencies and follow up on missing information.
- Support client-facing colleagues with questions relating to onboarding, KYC and client documentation.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to improve and streamline compliance processes and procedures.
About the candidate:
- Highly organised, structured and detail-oriented.
- Reliable, responsible and trustworthy, with a strong sense of discretion.
- Hands-on, pragmatic and service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- knowledge of CDB 20 and Swiss AML/KYC requirements.
- Familiarity with FATCA and CRS/AEOI.
- At least three years of relevant experience in client onboarding, KYC or banking documentation.
- Commercial apprenticeship, ideally in banking, or equivalent professional training
