Finance Assistant

POSITION DETAILS

Designation: Finance Assistant

Business Unit: Glenmark Specialty SA

Function: Finance & Administration

Location: Neuchâtel

 

 Overall Job responsibilities

  • Validating & booking of AP and AR invoices in SAP
  • Reconciles accounts related to receivables and payables
  • Assist processing of vendor payments and preparing credit/debit notes
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Prepare schedules related to financials on a monthly basis
  • Record banking transactions in SAP & preparation of bank reconciliation statements
  • Support monthly book closing activities
  • Support SAP configuration activities and processes change requests
  • Undertakes and supports activities related documentation
  • Undertakes other adhoc assigned analysis and reporting activities
  • Support adhoc assignments related to accounting, AP & AR
  • Liases with external offices such as government offices, legal offices and vendors to undertake compliances and documentation and resolving issues, if any
  • Supports trading operations – manage purchase orders, sales orders, invoice generation and documentation

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

  • To be successful in this position, the candidate must be detail oriented and results focused and have a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • SAP Experience: able/willing to learn
  • Collaborative and a strong team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable education/experience
  • Minimum experience of 2 years in AP, accounting, and/or finance roles
