POSITION DETAILS
Designation: Finance Assistant
Business Unit: Glenmark Specialty SA
Function: Finance & Administration
Location: Neuchâtel
Overall Job responsibilities
- Validating & booking of AP and AR invoices in SAP
- Reconciles accounts related to receivables and payables
- Assist processing of vendor payments and preparing credit/debit notes
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Prepare schedules related to financials on a monthly basis
- Record banking transactions in SAP & preparation of bank reconciliation statements
- Support monthly book closing activities
- Support SAP configuration activities and processes change requests
- Undertakes and supports activities related documentation
- Undertakes other adhoc assigned analysis and reporting activities
- Support adhoc assignments related to accounting, AP & AR
- Liases with external offices such as government offices, legal offices and vendors to undertake compliances and documentation and resolving issues, if any
- Supports trading operations – manage purchase orders, sales orders, invoice generation and documentation
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
- To be successful in this position, the candidate must be detail oriented and results focused and have a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP Experience: able/willing to learn
- Collaborative and a strong team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable education/experience
- Minimum experience of 2 years in AP, accounting, and/or finance roles
