At GF Building Flow Solutions, you will play a key role in shaping the future of plumbing systems and installation technologies. As our Product Development Engineer Plumbing Systems, you will drive innovation from concept to market launch, lead cross-functional development projects, and continuously enhance existing products and processes. Working closely with Product Management, manufacturing sites, and international stakeholders, you will help create customer-focused solutions that deliver quality, performance, and long-term value.

Product Development Engineer Plumbing Systems (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Lead the development of innovative plumbing systems and installation tools from concept to market launch

• Manage innovation projects during incubation and act as Technical Lead throughout the Stage-Gate development process

• Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives for products, materials, and manufacturing processes

• Ensure product quality, reliability, compliance, and technical excellence throughout the entire product lifecycle

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Operations, Quality, Sales & Application teams, as well as external partners and suppliers

• Support intellectual property activities and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and documentation standards

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Materials Engineering, Product Development, Building Technology, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development and engineering within an international industrial environment

• Proven track record of leading product development projects from idea generation through successful market introduction

• Strong knowledge of product design, materials, manufacturing processes, and problem-solving engineering

• Experience with CAD (Siemens NX or others) and PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill and SAP-ECTR, as well as project and budget management

• Strong technical leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills combined with an innovative and customer-focused mindset
