REINSURANCE ACTUARY, 30082

The company is seeking an Actuarial Consultant to support their next phase of growth and expansion in Ireland

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Supporting clients in the delivery of actuarial consulting services
• Assisting senior colleagues to build and maintain client relationships by giving support with requests for proposals and the development of sales materials
• Communicating effectively with project teams to ensure that projects are on time and meet internal and clients’ expectations
• Supporting intellectual capital development and new business generation

• Qualified life actuary with 3-4 years’ post-qualified experience in a consulting role

• Strong stakeholder and project lead experience balanced with technical understanding of actuarial and finance
• A deep understanding of IFRS 17 is essential, with experience in implementation, setting methodology, BAU readiness and reporting required
• Proven experience and knowledge of Capital/Solvency II, financial modelling and risk management techniques and reinsurance
• Proven ability to lead medium sized projects (around 5+ colleagues)
